February Update

Since our last update the CEO Search Committee has been in regular contact with the transition team at YMCA of the USA. Last week the team met to review the anticipated timeline for posting the job and hiring the right candidate for Tillamook.

Since our last update, the team at YMCA of the USA has collected input and information from our local Y, leadership staff team, board members, and prescribed community stakeholders and donors. With the data sourced from these surveys, YMCA of the USA will craft an Executive Vacancy Announcement (EVA, i.e. job description) for the Search Committee to review and finalize for posting.

After approval, the EVA will be posted nationally on the YMCA’s National Job Posting Board which cross posts to Indeed, Linked-in, etc. When the link is live we will share it on our website as well as provide a link on our Facebook page. The posting is expected to go live the second week of March and be open for 30 days. After the job closes resumes will be reviewed. Preliminary interviews are slated for late May, followed by the final round of interviews in early June.

Stay tuned for a mid-spring update!
